What is Twitter: Posting Number 1,000
By the time you’ve seen this, I will have updated Twitter 1,000 times. If I posted once per day, it would have taken me about 3 years to make that many updates. That is not the case. I’ve been signed up with Twitter for about 3 months. So, I update Twitter about 10 times per day on average. Crazy, eh?
So, what is Twitter?
Here’s some basic information:
- Official About Twitter Page
- Official Twitter Blog
- Twitter FAQ (including official answer to What is Twitter?)
In my own words, Twitter is a web site that allows you to quickly and easily tell the world what you are doing and what you think is interesting. It’s a simple tool for microblogging. You can make updates from the web or from your mobile device. Very simple stuff.
OK, if you’ve got a handle on Twitter, and you feel you know the answer to the basic question of ‘What is Twitter?” — It’s time to graduate. About a month ago I put together something very special, just for you!
You can’t go wrong with that article. It goes well beyond answering the “What is Twitter?” question and into tools and techniques for advanced Twitter use.
That’s all for now. I hope that you’ve learned something new. If you’d like to get started and need someone to follow, you know where you can find me:

Why People Buy Things: Secrets of Search Engine Marketing
There are very clear reasons why people buy things. It isn’t about technology or even the search engines.
Think about it. You don’t because of Google. Instead, people find stuff to buy online through Google. In other words, search engines help you find what you want but the search engines aren’t telling you how to buy, or really even what to buy.
People are looking to buy things and the search engines just help. The only thing they sell is advertising. They aren’t selling products.
So, that is your first secret to understand. People are looking for stuff to buy and search engines are just there to help along the way. To really understand why people buy things, you need to dig deeper…
You obviously need to care about keywords and context. Search engine marketing isn’t about figuring out technology. It’s about figuring out people. It’s about understanding their wants and desires. It’s about psychology, not technology and search engines.
Here are someconcrete reasons why people buy things. These are the real secrets to search engine marketing:
1. People want to get rich. They want money. They are trying to do it fast, and easy.
2. People don’t want to lose money. They want to hoard what they have for security.
3. People want more time. They are generally lazy and want to enjoy life, not work.
4. People want to feel sexy and beautiful. Easy health, long life.
5. People are curious. They like to experiment and explore.
6. People want to be loved. They want respect and admiration.
7. People want power over other people. They want to be popular too.
So, people buy things for very human reasons. If you can understand what drives and motivates people, you can generate wealth. And, search engine marketing takes on a new meaning. It isn’t about beating Google, it’s about delivering value to real people through Google.
How to Re-Write a PLR Article in Under 7 Minutes
The value of private label rights (PLR) is that the hard research has been done for you. Most people think that the value is that the writing has been done for you, but that’s not the value of PLR at all.
Writing isn’t that bad. It is easy to speed write. If you give me an outline with the relevant keywords, a title, and some of the key concepts, I can write an article in just a few minutes. It isn’t hard pounding out an article.
So, again, the value of PLR is that someone else has already figured out what to write about and they’ve given you the map. It’s the research behind the article that takes all the time and energy, right?
That tip above is worth $100 — easy. Most people seek out PLR for the words, not the research. Now you know how to find the very best PLR because it isn’t the writing that matters, it’s all the work behind the words:
* Keywords and key phrases
* Title options and ideas
* Genral outlinesÂ
* Core concepts
Now you just need to pound out your own words and you can do that easily. Well, you can do that easily if you have a simple formula — The formula we use.
Now, assuming you have a ton of PLR content (if you don’t you can grab some here), it’s time to take action. What that means is that you’re ready to re-write PLR.
Some people will tell you that re-writing PLR doesn’t make sense, or that it’s hard to do. Hogwash! You can re-write PLR and you should re-write PLR. Remember, the hard work is the research which is already done for you.
I’ll summarize. PLR articles are valuable. The hard work is done for you. But, to really turn PLR into cash, you’ve got to re-write. It isn’t that hard if you know the simple formula. Here’s what you need:
