8 Laser Targeted Questions About Membership Websites

Hey Blog Reader,

We recently set out a survey to our lists asking
them their most pressing questions with membership

We were just FLOODED with responses. We were
stunned … it’s hard to believe how many people
responded to that survey.

Here are the results. Instantly download them here:

I can tell you one thing is really clear — there are
a lot of people that are looking for reliable cash,
month after month. Many people, perhaps you,
want to know how to do niche research and find
fresh content for memberships too. They want to
know what works before investing their time.

But really, the biggest thing is that people just
want help getting started because they know that
with a membership, there is consistent cash. I’m
going to talk more about that in a few minutes.
First, I need to tell you how big companies are
secretly killing jobs. It’s important…

— — —

I live in what’s known as Upstate New York. It’s
not even close to New York City. In fact, we’re
about 3 hours away. But, despite being in a small
town, we’re very close to a major IBM plant. It’s
actually known as the birthplace of IBM.

Obviously the local newspaper follows IBM very
closely. In the last few months, they haven’t
really written anything about IBM — Despite the
fact that IBM has been laying people off. A lot of
people. But it’s not showing up.

See, what they’re doing is letting people go in
small batches. There’s this loophole they’re using
that allows them to keep the announcement out of
the paper by getting rid of people in very small
batches so no news is reported — Yes, the local
newspaper is blind.

Think of how many other companies are laying off
using these submarine tactics. Even government
jobs are at serious risk these days.

If you’re working for someone else, the risk is higher
than ever. Unfortunately, other people control your
ability to stay above water. I know how this feels
and it’s not pleasant.

And now I’ll bring things back full circle. The
reason that so many people want memberships is
because they offer reliable cash. It’s that month
to month cash flow that really matters…

Allow me to tell you a little secret.

— — —

Some people are NOT in pain. They always have
extra money. There’s always a lifeline for them.

The people who are suffering the least right now
have membership web sites. Even if their product
sales drop they still have a consistent flow of
cash coming in from their … memberships.

In other words, those people with memberships
aren’t very worried about layoffs. They have a
lot of stability and control. They have comfort.

(A membership is like a warm, fuzzy blanket in
the dead of a cold winter. It’s what you want.)

Now, I know from our survey that many people do
not know how to set up a membership. It seems
like it’s a serious challenge, right?

But the truth is that there are actually many
membership models. Some are easy enough to set
up in just 3-4 hours. Others take more time, but
the payoff is just huge. Anyone can feel confident
about setting up a membership because there are
many simple paths. And, you can “upgrade” and
move to more powerful (cash pulling) memberships.

You would think that with all the brilliant minds
out there that this information would be right
out there, ready to grab and use. But, it’s hidden.

That’s not right. So, we’re going to help you. Here’s
how we’re going to make a difference, today…

the top things people need to know about memberships.
This is a gift without any hassles … because the
Warrior Forum has really helped us.

Just go to this web site and download your copy
of the Membership Survey Results.

We’ve also set up a Priority Notification List for
people who might be interested in all our membership
systems. Obviously we will be covering absolutely
everything there. Once we open this thing up to the

public, the number we can accept will be limited. That’s
because we’re taking our time to personally work
with each person.

So, the best way to get a chance at getting one of
the limited spots is to jump on the that Priority
Notification List. Here’s the link again:

The one thing that I want you to remember today
is that memberships are recession proof. We have
recently seen an *increase* in the number of new
subscribers to our memberships.

It’s this kind of consistent cash flow that makes
memberships so powerful. And fortunately, it is
possible to set up a membership even if you lack
technical knowledge.

We’ll be talking with you very soon once you join
the Priority Notification List.

All the best,

they want videos. That makes sense. Imagine having
us right there for you, providing step-by-step
instructions. Imagine having the blueprint in your
hands … for your first membership.

Seven Years to Seven Figures

Posted on February 23rd, 2009 in 10x, Advice | 1 Comment »

I’ve been listening to Michael Masterson’s Seven Years to
Seven Figures
. It’s pretty good although several books are
better in my opinion.

One thing I do when I read or listen to a book is extract
at least one golden nugget. I think I finally found the real
gold in Masterson’s book. Here it is.

Focus like crazy on one monster project for 6-12 months.
This is not the typical “FOCUS!” comment. This is a little
different. It’s this: focus on one thing for a long time.

Most people just tell you to focus but they don’t tell you
to focus and stick with it for a while. But, there’s another
secret for people still reading this…

You see, most people reading this will think that they
need to focus on one project. And they will think that
they should focus on one product as part of that project.
That’s fine, but that’s not the secret.

The real secret is this. Are you ready for it? focus on one
thing for a long time — most importantly the marketing.
In other words, to succeed you need to relentlessly
focus nearly all your efforts on marketing one thing
for a long time.

Do some research then create a product for a hungry
niche. Then, market it until you bleed. Sell, sell, sell. Your
number one objective is to sell. Stop the research. Stop
the tweaking. Stop the product creation. (Or, at least
minimize these things.) Instead, FOCUS ON SELLING. And,
stay focused. For 6-12 months. Or longer.

~ John S. Rhodes of “The Rhodes Brothers”

p.s. If you’re looking to *really* focus then you need to
take a look at the 10x Method. There’s nothing quite
like it available. And, it’s FREE. I highly recommend it.

ClickNuke is the World’s First Micro Article Directory

Posted on February 4th, 2009 in Advice, Customers, News, Simple | 1 Comment »

The Rhodes Brothers just launched ClickNuke. It is the first and only micro article directory on the planet. There’s nothing else like it.

Here’s what you can see on the Click Nuke About page:

ClickNuke is a service that gives you the ability to instantly announce anything to the world. It’s the world’s first micro article directory.

ClickNuke's proprietary system is simple. You are allowed to post up to 500 characters of content for just $1. And, it's easy for you. Enjoy the power of RSS, quick indexing, and dirt cheap publicity.

ClickNuke is brought to you by John S. Rhodes and Matt Rhodes. The Rhodes Brothers are well known internet marketers providing valuable tools, services, and products to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and other internet marketers. They've helped thousands of people drive web traffic, create information products, and make money online.

That sounds good but what can it do for internet marketers? More importantly, is there any proof it works?

Here’s an email sent to us by Doug Hudiburg:

Hey John,

I thought I'd share some search results with you.

Just searched this keyword in Google without "quotes":

Internet Marketing Tip: More AR Items More Profit

The Click Nuke Post is indexed, along with my Twitter post with that phrase, but look at the number 5 results.

For me, it's "Daily Marketing Ace >> Add Follow-up Messages to Increase..."

So, what that says to me is that the link Juice is, indeed, paying off. Google took the link text from my ClickNuke post ( [Emphasis added.]

And ranked my DMA post:

For the exact same link text.

Pretty cool!

Doug Hudiburg

Then Doug followed up with this quick note…

Also, my Daily Marketing Ace posts usually index pretty fast, but today I posted again and used Click Nuke again, and the post was indexed by Google in about 30 minutes. I don't really have a good baseline to compare to, but intuitively, I think that's about 23 hours faster than normal. [Emphasis added.]

I know this might be a big confusing so I’ll put it another way and I’ll simplify. Customers are telling us that ClickNuke is getting them indexed faster and it’s helping them in the SERPs.

Pretty cool, right?

p.s. Definitely visit and use ClickNuke. It’s a “no brainer” investment.

Make Money With User Generated Content

Posted on February 3rd, 2009 in 10x, Advice, Customers, Twitter, Web Traffic | 2 Comments »

Some people are saying that user generated content (UGC) isn’t profitable. For example, Adam Cohen recently posted a link on Twitter to an article on eMarketer that includes comments like this:

“Unfortunately, if things stay as they are, this frenzy of content generation and attention is not likely to produce commensurate rewards for marketers or site publishers.”

There are other quotes that are similar. There’s this idea floating around that since big companies aren’t making a killing that it’s not possible to make money with user generated content. Part of this thinking is the result of this wrong thinking:

“The prevailing wisdom used to be that user-generated content would attract advertising volume commensurate with its audience.”

But this thinking is just plain wrong. Let’s poke at both issues: (1) Only big companies matter and (2) advertising is the only way to make money with UGC.

It’s kind of silly to think that UGC only concerns BigCo’s and monster companies. It’s like only they care about making money. Or only Fortune 500 companies have skin in the game. That’s complete hogwash. Small and medium sized companies utilize UGC all the time, and many know how to make money with it. I’ll explain this more below; stick with me.

It’s also naive to think that the smartest way to make money with UGC is via advertisements. This is like saying that the only way to make money with magazines is with full color advertisements. What about classified ads? What about subscriptions? What about inserts? There are always multiple channels of revenue to utilize.

So, now I’ll spill the beans. What’s one really smart way to make money with UGC? Well, I’ll first give you this secret tip: If you can get traffic to a web site, you can make money. It’s all about traffic. If an online marketer knows that a site is getting traffic, money can flow. This is almost an absolute truth when it comes to “hungry markets” and “hungry niches” but it’s also true even with niches that don’t seem to have much hunger.

Here’s what I’ve done on several sites where we have user generated content (e.g., blogs). I simply provide a visitor with an opportunity to watch a free video or download a free report, then I capture their email address. From there, the real magic happens. I learn what my subscribers want, find or build a product, then sell it to them.

Here’s something to drill into your mind: The profit margins on this activity are insane. You can make a killing online if you can get users to generate content for you, which in turn drives traffic, which in turn gives you the opportunity to capture emails, which in turn gives you a list, which in turn allows you to build a relationship, which in turn allows you to provide something of value in return for payment.

That is just one way that you make money with content supplied by other people. There are many other models. If you’re interested to learn more about this “way of thinking” I encourage you to take a look at the 10x Method. It’ll help you understand how to find more excellent business models liek the one I’ve just clearly laid out for you.
