		<description>John,

thanks for helping me form a better idea of markets in my mind. Until now I had heard of Desperate Buyers and Hungry Markets, and I must admit, I never gave it that much thought, I simply assumed they were pretty much the same. Thank you for clearing that up for me, simple yet important piece of information to be clear on.

		<description>John -

I&#039;m glad you spelled that out.

I&#039;d been thinking the same thing, but no one would give me conformation. I was starting to think I was the only one that understood that desperate buyers weren&#039;t good for continuity programs.

Thanks . . .</description>

		<description>&quot;Do you think upsells and OTO’s will have a higher impact on desperate buyers than in hungry markets?&quot;

The short answer is YES. But the long answer is that both types of buyers will be influenced the most when their real or perceived need is the greatest. That could be early or later in their respective buying cycles.

		<description>Good article, and great examples.
I have known the difference, but never really thought about it that much.

Great to know when I&#039;m getting more into niche marketing!

And here&#039;s a quation for you:
Do you think upsells and OTO&#039;s will have a higher impact on desperate buyers than in hungry markets?

To me, that seems like a pretty good suggestion, although it also depends on the market of course.
